Night Sights

Well i finally steped it up and bought a XD40 but now i want to get the night sights for it does anyone know of a local shop around the oakland area to Sacramento area that installs them and sells them? i would try to install them my self but i read on here its seems to be nothing but nightmares

Most gun shops do not install sights for you.

River City Gun Exchange in Sacramento may do it but I think it depends on the gun and sights and maybe even if you purch it from them or not. Not sure. Give a call 916-428-0377 Tues-Sat 10-6

Also just about any gunsmith will do it. Just call around. Likely they will need to order them but some keep them in stock. Cost will likely be more for install if you bring the sights to them as they can not make money on the sights. Just business as usual for most.

If you have not picked anything out yet I recommend XD Big Dot sights for Home or Self Defense. They are set up for quick aquisition and combat situations wherein adreniline may run high so the ability to point shoot/sight shoot is a plus as they are very easy to pickup. Hence the BIGNESS of them.
