    10mm AR pistol

Does anyone know who makes components to build an AR pistol in 10mm? I've looked and haven't really found anything so I figured I'd ask my Calguns brethren!

They sell uppers that will go on a Glock pistol frame. You would need to make it a dedicated rifle once you put upper on. You cannot make it into rifle, then go back to pistol. It must stay a rifle once you slap that upper on. You will also need a bullet button for the Glock if not featureless.

Pretty cool too. Imagine a 10mm out of a 16" barrel.

        Mechtech says you can ...

"Is it legal to convert the CCU back to the original pistol?

Yes. The BATFE recently published a ruling which clarifies this - here is the link: https://www.atf.gov/file/55526/download. There has been a lot of missinformation circulating to the effect that once the pistol lower has been asembled to a rifle configuration then converting back to the pistol constitutes 'making a pistol from a rifle' and thereby placing the pistol into the SBR (short barrelled rifle) class. Not so. Please see our Forum for even further clarification. It is the first post on the Forum so you don't have to spend time trying to find it."

          Per ATF, yes.
But the general calguns consensus is: CA DOJ says no.

I know not a pistol OP, but these carbines have pretty cool features. The upper receiver is registered and they provide alternate barrel/lower combinations. I ordered one in 9mm and .45. I might add 10mm to the mix if I end up liking them a lot. They run in the low $600's.

I'm well aware of the mag tech upper but I'm talking about an actual ar pistol here. Let's keep it on topic boys
