Sig P320 vs P239 in ca?

I am interested in getting a sig subcompact for conceal carry. The Roster only listed P239. I saw the P320 in sig website and thought the design concept is neat and cool. If it is not in the Roster, any suggestion how to buy one in CA?

For those of you who have tried the P239 and P320, please share your experience, thought and comment.

    thank you

Two very different guns, both very nice. P239 is all metal, hammer fired, SA/DA, single stack. The P320 has a polymer frame, and is striker fired with a great trigger, and double stack mag. The P320 is also convertible to many sizes, colors and calibers, and each category of grip frame has options for different hand sizes.

I own both. The pic below shows my P320 in a Compact 9mm configuration with medium grip size. My P239 has Hogue G10 grips (a little thinner than factory) and a factory Custom Shop action enhancement package - you can send your P239 back to Sig for this service. If you want a P320 in CA - you gather up about $1200 and wait for one to show up in the marketplace here - they are legal to buy from private sellers.

They are both great guns - you can't go wrong with either but they are different.

      ^very nice...

OP, Sig makes great pistols, can't go wrong either way. The p320 has the advantage in CA since whatever model you buy can be swapped to any other model size or caliber with conversion kits.

Unless you are in law enforcement, the primary way to purchase this is through private party transfer. But on CG prepare to pay a premium price ~$1000.

My only complaint about the p320 is the takedown lever. I have to adjust my finger placement of my support hand.

FYI - Sig has released a new take down lever. It is described as "closer to the frame and less pokey".

Market section will have them once in a while if you are willing to pay $950-$1100.

My wife likes the full size P320 in 9mm. She can cycle the slide with ease. She likes the trigger pull. She is a southpaw so the ambi slide stop/release and ambi mag release suits her just fine. Gonna get a TLR-2 or 4 for her.

                        FYI.

The SIG P320 and P239 are both compacts, not subcompacts.

If you want a SIG subcompact, you should be looking at .380ACP P238, 9x19mm P290RS, and 9x19mm P938.

There are two variants of the SIG P238 listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.
The SIG P290RS, P938, and all the other P238 variants are off-Roster.

The P320 comes in a sub-compact model. It's equivalent to the Glock 26. The 938 is a nice single stack single action and is very compact. The S&W BG380 is another sub compact in 380.
