Their approach is to have a bunch of random people start threads with zero information on the topic.

Then...profit.

So lets just patiently wait and see what they do.... instead of posting wild stories, conjecture, guessing, then guessing more, etc.

Only thing that would pass the smell test with DOJ and BOE would be a "Gunbroker" type service to make arrangements for PPT and consignments.

That is correct.

So Gunbroker is a general national auction site used by private parties and dealers.

This company could offer a similar auction service, but deal only with California buyers and sellers.
Basically, like the Calguns marketplace, but possibly an auction site.
They could run consignment out of their own location(s) to pay the bills.

Of course, each location would need its own FFL, so there still would not be a convenient way for a buyer in LA to purchase from an SF seller (their SF location would not be able to ship to LA for pickup).
They could do this with the locations having an 02FFL...

OR.... they could enlist existing pawn shops into a kind of "network"

So, a California Only Gunbroker! That would work. Except for the North/South distance thing. How far are you willing to drive twice to do a PPT?

It's possible to search the real Gunbroker by State, I think.

It would have to be a PPT. Anything else has to be shipped out of state. It's a shame when you find a gun on gunbroker you want located in CA but a CA resident cant buy it because it is in the FFL inventory.

It almost sounds like they would take the role as manufacturer by acquiring unfinished receivers and completing them as single shot guns.

If they can do great for us and it sounds possible. The risk is that california passes a new law making the single shot process to eliminate what they will see as a "loop hole".

I hope they succeed!

SCOTUS has already upheld similar rosters.
