    Mag Well for 1911

Does anyone in Southern CA stock a Mag Well for 1911 pistols? I can order it online but would like to buy one local if I can. Anyone have experience with the different mag wells? It is for a Para single stack. Thanks

I would just buy from these guys

Smith & Alexander - makers of the finest pistol parts in the world. S&A's parts have become the industry standard by which all others are judged.

They make a great product - legal in any competition if you ever go that route, and are great people.

You can give On Target a try, as well as Ironsights in Oceanside. The stockade and fowlers may carry metal mainspring housings also. Those shops are the ones off the top of my head that usually carries 1911 accessories.

          Oh, +1 for S&A.

I have a S&A well on my Springfield. Great product. Had to get the lanyard loop!

The S&A magwell is hard to beat, unless you want to save a bit and option for the Wilson Speed Chute. It will put a little bit of marring on your frames finish where the tabs squeezes in to mount, plus your grips may require modification.

Bolsa Gunsmithing in HB will most likely have one in stock. They stock lots of 1911 goodies.

I've used both Wilson and SA. Buy the S&A.

Remember you'll need mags with floorplates.

Don't know if these guys have a store front, but you can call and ask, they're in Burbank:

If you do mail order, the stuff usually arrives in 2 or 3 days.

I guess I should have asked for ones Orange and Riverside county.
