Steel plates from 25 yards. It's like cheating. Hit metal at least 80% of rounds fired down range. Only thing I would change is the sights. It's a big gun but it's a tack driver. My XD is staying in my night stand . This and my SP-01 are truly amazing shooters.

You like the rubber grips better then? I prefer them, too, though the 97B I have has the OEM wood grips. My old 97B that I sold had the rubber grips.

Try hitting 100-yard plates next time. That gun is very capable even without any mods.

Extremely accurate 45 ACP out of the box.

Follow up shots are the best I have ever experienced with a 45ACP. Minimal flip and single action trigger is good. Should get better with time.

I bought a 6mm front sight and the Competition rear sight. If I had to do it again I'd get the rounded rear sight not the squared off. What I like about installing the front sight is that you don't need to drill a hole through the new one to fit it, just relieve the underside a bit so the pin will tap through. Much easier to fit.
