    HK USP Expert

What do you guys think of this gun? I want one of these but can't decide on the caliber, .40 or .45. Is there a big difference in the trigger b/ the Expert and standard USP's? I think I prefer the .45 but can't find one but did find a .40 for $1200 NIB. The fullsize .40 USP's are soft shooters from my experience. Is this a decent price or too steep in your opinion. For the same price, which would you rather have, an Expert45 or HK45? Thanks!

I really like shooting my HK 45 expert, the larger size and longer barrel makes a nice range gun. But the HK45 makes a nicer holster, carry gun in the woods. You haven't writen where the gun was going to be used, but if you want a range gun. My vote would be the expert.
But gun to carry or pack with you, I would look at the HK45 or HK45C. Of course, you would had to look at the pricing. MSRP has about a $400 difference, plus any premium for the HK45.
        Very interesting!!

I like my .45 expert better the the .45 USPf. Comparing triggers between the USP and the USP Expert, The expert's trigger its a huge improvement.

comes with the expert and elite; I had the match trigger installed on my USP45FS after I bought the expert and discovered the difference.

Thanks for the feedback. I found an Expert45 today and dros'd it.

                  Can't wait to shoot it.

I have over 60k rounds in my 45 Expert. I still shoot better at 50 yards than I do at 25 yards.

60K? Damn! Good to hear this thing still runs like a champ at 60K. I doubt I will ever even come close to shooting half that much.

Why do I see some Experts with the red painted HK logos and white markings while others I see including the one I got has what looks like all gold markings. Did you guys paint them? What did you guys use and does it come off when cleaning the pistol?

I have the .40 and shoots well. I got it on sale and they didn't have the .45 to try. Congrats on your find.
