How do you figure that, since the mag is pushed up into position, and the slide lock has to be pushed down to release the slide. It's obvious that there is a defect in the lock (release) or slide notch. Lots of 1911's suffer this when worn by constantly having the release pushed down instead of pulling the slide rearward allowing the release to drop on it's own.

All the guns I've ever shot that auto forwarded it would only do it with a full magazine and you have to insert it fairly hard. The M&P pistols do it right out of the box. I've gotten my pretty new CZ and HK to do it as well.
