Hobby Lobby flourescent paint pen. Green or yellow. Or flourescent fingernail polish. Always use white paint first. It will make the top color much brighter.
This year will go down in history.... Don't want to offend anybody

You didn't buy the gun you wanted.

            Seriously.

I've already got a Tactical (and subbed in a number of GI parts).

Seriously, lights and lasers, could have spent about the same for a railed XD.

One thing with 1911's... you mentioned muzzle brake... there are plenty of parts available, but because manufacturers differ slightly from the 100 year old design, nearly everything requires some level of "fitting" by a gunsmith, or at least someone who knows that they are doing as a machinist.

You can get a muzzle brake that will replace your barrel bushing. It may or may not be a drop-in replacement. It will more than likely need some machine work.

^^^ This for the night sights

Wilson Combat makes about the best muzzle break/compensator. It is a replacement for the current bushing ang goes about $90.

Friendly advice, Do not spend much of your money putting bells and wistles on a RIA GI. If you want different features, save up and buy a 1911 that has those on it.

There are staked on night sights available., but you would need a tool and know how to use it. A Gunsmith can fit the sight. Bushing brakes are not going to reduce recoil much, if at all. You could buy a threaded barrel and a break, but it needs to be pinned and welded per cali law. If you just want a light on it and don't care about the quality, there are cheap rails that attach to the trigger guard on ebay. Or there are a couple that mount to the slide stop. for $85-200, then you need a light. http://www.uscav.com/surefire-1911-r...series-lights/

Or you can get a crimson trace light which mounts to the trigger guard, but it may require fitting on your RIA. http://www.tacticalassaultgearstore....1-pistols.html

Check these out. You could add a rail easily with these.

+1 on a new sight. I replaced that sliver with a gold bead. problem is it might come loose if staked poorly, then you might eat that sight on the next shot.
