    Must be the intrawebz.
I don't either. I just finished building my Timberwolf Glock 17 and it's awesome! Points so well.

Sights for sure- I did Meprolight 3 dots on my gen 3 G17. I would also advise a Vickers extended mag release. It's only another few millimeters longer, but makes a world of difference in release, and doesn't drop the mags unintentionally. That's all I'd recommend. Don't touch the trigger, just learn to use it better.

Side note: I did end up throwing in a Stainless guide rod and a rear slide plate, but find they're both not necessary. I just like them.

OP, it can be a time-waster to not post a link as to the kit in which you're interested. I, at least, tried the http://www.lonewolfdist.com site. There are several "kits" from which to choose.

Each person will have his/her own likes or dislikes as to what changes to make to a Glock, if any.

Here are some things I'll usually consider:
SIGHTS. Often, my Glocks shoot just a bit high for me and I'll want either a taller front sight or a lower rear sight. Therefore, instead of a set, I may order an individual front and/or an individual rear.

Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

          I may also install a Glock-brand 4.5 lb connector:
Shoot faster and more accurately with our top-grade Glock connectors. Explore Rock Your Glock to find best quality accessories for your Glock models today!

I've been using the DecalGrips products, too, but there are other brands from which to choose, including a rubber-type material or a sandpaper-type material.

Wish someone would make grip decals for the sides that mimics the Gen4 texture. They would probably sell a ton of them.

Anyone know any SoCal FFLs that carry them?
Yes, mags drop free, all are Glock parts. Nothing special. This frame was only available through SSE.

It feels really great. Has the texture or a Gen3/4 and grip angle of a 1911.

Leave the barrel alone, get used to the trigger thru practice and use that $100 for a good set of Sights and call it a day. It's a Glock and made to perform and is reliable the way it is! :-)

Did you have to buy the lone wolf frame with all everything in it (trigger, springs and connectors) or could you just sse the bare frame? Really looking to get a lone wolf frame but I don't know how it works to get one over here in California. Thanks really appreciate it

Only thing I replaced on my glocks are factory plastic sight with Ameriglo Idot. Everything else is all factory stock.

Like others have said, shoot it for awhile first and then see what you (not the internet) doesn't like. For me, the first mod was the extended slide lock (must be my girlish fingertips). I used the OEM sights for awhile and then changed to a 3 dot system just to make it common to my other shooters.
