I have a Glock 20 factory slide and barrel did a long slide conversion .Was thinking of selling .Then I look at the slide and it has the serial number on it . Obviously there's no issue selling it legal wise I'm concerned about another firearm with my Glock serial number on it floating around .Am I over thinking this ?

Since it's the frame that is 'the real firearm', the most that could happen is the gun is traceable to you, and then the slide, on a new gun belonging to the person who bought it, might also be traceable back to you - at which point you say 'I sold that to X back in 2015; he said he lives in [city, state]'.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
