Problem with Double Diamond Connector for Glock

So I installed a Double Diamond connector today and ran into and issue once installed. The reset when the slide was pulled back and finger held on trigger after say a shot was fired would not rest it would simply make the trigger be pulled again.

Hard to explain but lets say you had a round in chamber fired and kept the trigger pulled back and the slide cycled and you let off the trigger enough for it to reset and then be able to pull trigger again for next round. It would not reset and would simply allow the striker to fire again. I removed it put stock connector back in all okay, installed DD again and same issue I tried multiple times but no matter what I go same result.

    Any ideas?

Stick with Glock OEM parts. Glock makes a - connector, about 20 bucks. I have one in my 19 and no issues, can't say how many rounds down range with it in, because I forget. But I have about 4500-5000 through it total. And I put the connector in shortly after getting the pistol.

^+1 with that stick with glock connectors. Sounds like it might be off angle, causing it to double fire.

That was not what I asked but thanks anyway.

The trigger pull is very nice and crisp but I am having this issue and many people here use the DD so I am trying to get it figured out. I would really like to use it like I said the trigger pull is very nice.

While I agree it might be kinda cool, I do not need to get into trouble from something I did not intend to do.

Thanks for the link they seem to be back ordered.

Is it releasing the striker when the gun goes back into battery, or when the trigger gets released?

Make sure that spring back there is installed right.

Okay so I decided to reinstall it and get you more information as soon as you begin to let off the trigger for the reset the striker goes. I also had two of the DD connectors and tried them both with the same result. it was okay for a few triggers pulls and then it began and like I said above I removed it and put original connector back in all okay put the DD back in and same thing.

I'd give them a call and see if you can get a replacement.

The DD connector is not well made imo and is known to have this issue.

I had 4 of them they all did this after 1k rounds
