I have the railed stainless SIG 1911 and it's a shooter. Very accurate. Doesn't have the fit and finish of my DW Valor but it's solid gun and a good value. That TTT model has a lot of great features for the $$. Even more features than my Stainless which cost about the same iirc.

If you can ignore the fact that SIG 1911s are far from the traditional 1911 then you are good to go.

People just tend to not like them because of the boxy shape, long side extractor and being a series 80 but aside from that SIG 1911s are good to go.

I just traded my TTT for an HK p2000. Compared to my TRP, LBCC and EBKC the TTT just didn't measure up. The gun offers a lot for a good price but performance counts. The "feel" in the hand wasn't on par with the others, accuracy and felt recoil wasn't as good either. Just my opinion, that's all.

I also have a stainless rail and love it. It's a great shooter.

I have a Sig XO and kept it, while eventually selling my SW1911SC and Springfield Loaded, as it felt tighter and I personally enjoy shooting it. Just personal preference, I suppose.

If memory serves the Sig 1911 requires a unique holster from other 1911's? Or am I wrong on that? Maybe someone who has one can confirm. Anyway, the point is to make sure you can find a holster for it if you're intent is to carry it and/or do range work.

I had two railed sigs (sss and nitron rail). Sold both. Couldn't shoot straight for some reason. Run of the mill guns. For the price though you get a lot of features. They did have play in slide/frame and barrel/bushing areas.

For the money they are great guns. I had a Tac Ops that was built solid. Only thing I don't like was the small thumb safety. Don't worry about finding holsters for them. Most of the major manufacturers make holsyers for them.

I have a Sig TTT THAT I bought around 2009. The fit is not as tight as my Springfield 1911 LT in 9mm, but it's accurate enough to stay in the 10 ring at 25 yards. It has been very reliable and the only thing I've done to it is clean up the trigger for a 4.5 lb pull and add a mag well. It works with a variety of magazines even with some cheapie 10 round mags. It's one of my 1911s that's on standby in condition 3 with extra loaded mags.

That price is a great deal. I have an XO and a traditional match elite in 9mm. Both shoot great. The XO slide to frame fit is better than the 9mm match. This is fine since I'm running a much lighter recoil spring in the 9mm.

Bought a railed nitron, the shop had 3, none of the 3 matched! one was really sharp on the front strap plus had an odd undercut that wasn't a high grip undercut. the next had the wrong hammer. the one hat I took home had the best feel in the hand and was the only one with an ambi safety

300 rounds so far and it's a much better shooter than my worn out 1996 1991a1
