    Glock 23 or 32

Which one guys? I have a G19 and was thinking of getting a second, then I started thinking about our last ammo drought where the only thing to be found on any LGS shelves was .40. I've also always been impressed with the .357 Sig, although it's a bit on the pricey side. I know I can swap barrels between either of the two, but I've never been a huge fan and prefer to have a dedicated gun for each caliber I shoot.

I went with the 23 because it f the holster choice. My 19 and 23 are interchangeable when it comes to holsters.

I see more 23 than 32.. in fact, I have never seen 32 in real life.

I believe that the 19, 23 and 32 have the exact same external dimensions.

If you are concerned about ammo availability I would go with the glock 23 (40 cal) .... more choices for ammo at more places.

Why not get a 23 and then a .357 sig drop in barrel?

^ this, really both the G23 and G32 are virtually identical except for the barrel. Unlike converting a .40 Glock to 9mm where the extractor, ejector, RSA, slide weight and mags may come into question... everything internally between a 23 & 32 is identical. The only variation is the barrel, slide rollmarks and magazine followers (which I've never personally had an issue with, using .40 mags interchangeably with .357 and vice versa).

So I guess it comes down to which of the two you happen to come upon first at a good price.
...as either way you go its as simple as ordering either a G32 or G23 barrel to convert, aftermarket or OEM.
