My first attempt at magwell blending

Almost got all my parts in for my 1911 build and figured I'd give this a whirl. This is my first time doing something like this, needless to say I was rather skeptical at first but getting the hang of things. Gotta sand a bit more but damn, looking pretty good I believe!
    What say you?

What did you use for sanding? Craytex sticks?

Amazing what a little patience, removing a little material at a time and lots of elbow grease can accomplish.
                      Looks great Jason!

I did use the dremel just a bit, but just minimally :/

But I did file and sand for hours!

Most people are impatient and remove too much material at once.
I'm a 37 year career machinist/cnc programmer/inspector and I look at blends and finishes all the time. You did a very nice job.
