    So I have a question....

I was just sitting here cleaning my Non Kali model Shield and I started wondering how you carry a "Kali" model with the loaded chamber indicator. Does it fit in your holster when the chamber is loaded? Seems like that could be a problem if you needed to draw quickly...maybe get caught up on the way out? Because a unloaded chamber when your carrying is basically a paper weight. Just wondering.

I don't have a CA version, but I kind of doubt it is an issue. The LCI does not extend above the sights, on the one's I've handled.

Ok good to hear. From all the pics I've seen it looks like it sticks out a lot!

The one's I've seen sit below the sights (otherwise you would have an annoying LCI blocking your sight). If the holster has enough clearance for the sights, it should have enough for the LCI.

Mine sits in both of my Holsters just fine. But i absolutely hate the LCI. The whole gun is very sleek to me and the LCI looks like putting a $.20 part on the gun. I'm not irritated with the fact it has one, but if its gonna have an LCI they could have at least tried to make it look a little better...

              But still below the sights.

If it really bothered you, Apex Tactical has a replacement LCI that doesn't stick up at all

Yeah, what a burden the LCI is, especially for "all" the times you need to quick draw your weapon, its good you don't have the "Kali" version....LMAO

If you have a good quality holster it shouldn't be an issue. Every decent holster manufacturer out there should be blocking their gun molds to make a "sight Channel" so you don't rip the front sight off when drawing. The LCI is lower than the sights.

For example we use wooden dowels that create a large channel to clear the sights. We actually use big enough dowels so even suppressor height sites will clear.

The LCI still bugged me so I got the Low Profile LCI from APEX off amazon recently.
