You need to know if you need to buy the lubricant for the gun yourself?

Too funny yet too true. So about those 1k plus Glocks....
Taiwan born, Chinese descent, red white and freaking blue America citizen.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Oops, my bad for being dense haha. I already expected to pay extra for it and decided that $25 for each hour of paperwork and transfer process on the sender's side would be sufficient...?

Also, does this loophole also work for banned-by-name rifles such as Knight's (prior to bullet button)?

The subcompact is great, double trigger is long though. SA is awesome. Wish it came with night sites though

You can only PPT an off-roster handgun with both you and the seller in person, the seller must be a CA resident, and the gun must be in state.

                    $50?

Smallest markup ever for an off-roster sidearm.

Expect $200 or more over MSRP...

not likely. If I had a Sphinx SDP Subcompact and wanted to sell it, I know that I couldn't easily replace it. I also know that for a buyer, his options to buy it are limited. based on supply-and-demand, I am going to price it where I would be willing to let go of it. when $400 Glock 42's sell for $800 or more, a $1000+ Sphinx might be going for $1500 or more, depending on the seller.

nope. banned by named means exactly that, BANNED. you can't possess them (unless it is registered to your as an AW)

the roster does not ban handguns from possession if they are not listed. it just means that Dealers may not transfer them except under limited circumstances. PPT/consignments are the primary way that you would get an off-roster handgun in CA today.
                        Jack

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

i have a unfired sphinx spd champagne. i would not let it go unless i got a great offer or trade. Most used Spd are going for 1500-1700.

This is another dumb question, but if your PPT needs to be a CA resident as well, how would they get an off-roster in the first place? Are you saying the only way to even have one is if someone else purchased it through single-shot exemption earlier?

They can buy for their own personal use while living elsewhere, move here, then suffer a horrible calamity which causes them to sell.
