    Torture Test: PPQ Navy

So I seen people post a torture test on the VP9 and a CZ that wouldn't work at all. It reminded me of a video I seen a while back that happened have a torture test in it.

I am happy I got a Walther PPQ M2 Navy SD instead!!!

^^^^ Thats funny and 100% true!
Let us hope our weapons are never needed --but do not forget what the common people knew when they demanded the Bill of Rights: An armed citizenry is the first defense, the best defense, and the final defense against tyranny. If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Only the police, the secret police, the military, the hired servants of our rulers. Only the government -- and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws."

If I can no longer buy a certain new handgun through legal means, I am not about to put it through a test like this.

The other thing, if I dropped a few hundred dollars or more on it, I'm taking care of it just like I do with all my stuff.

These tests are done to prove the reliability of a handgun. So if I see this much torture on the handgun, I must do something over the top for it not to work.

I don't get the offense that some people take from these torture tests. I wouldn't crash-test my car but I'm certainly glad that someone else did!

The tests show the outcome and if you don't like it so be it but to say the testing isn't valid just just shows that someone is offended. So many internet commandos identify them self with a brand or specific gun and freak out when someone makes a negative comment.

The VP9 failed a mild tortute test, PPQ didn't. Maybe next week someone will get the PPQ to fail. Who knows!

Seeing the results definitely influences my choices but I don't become the brand of the gun I buy. Ya, I'm not buying a VP9 but I'm not buying a PPQ either. Until I feel a reason the trade my P226 and G19 I'm just going to enjoy the entertainment value of you guys crying over the VP9 test results.

I'm with you on that OP, and there are a few guns in my collection that exceed the few hundred dollar mark

Consider the crap we go through to buy guns, the waiting, the fees, the higher costs, limited selection, not being allowed in public with them and being raised to take care of our stuff.... yes, most of us will not get a scratch on our weapons and would cry if we did.

That "torture" is sponsored by Walther, do you think that they would actually show you their gun failing? They can make the video look like whatever they like. I would rather have Billy and Bob do it out in the woods.

                      LOL, so many operators here!

I've seen countless poster's tears cuz they got the dreaded idiot mark on their frame

And hell, every gun in The Marketplace has only 200 rounds on it

It's true because living in California it's very hard to get off roster guns. You better take care of it because you might not be able to get one. Some manufacturer's are even hesitant to warranty an off roster hand gun if it's owned by someone in California.

I live in Utah and can find new and used guns buy driving a few miles. I was a Cabellas a few weeks ago and they had a used PPQ M2 for $350. The gun was in great shape. I should have bought it. Try finding a used PPQ in California for $350. I don't blame folks in CA for wanting to take care of the guns they have. If the roster stays in place with enough time all that will be left on it are revolvers.

Only operators I see are guys who have "battle wear" on their guns who've never been in one.
