    canik tp9sa not bad

    I just purchased the canik tp9 sa. its not bad for the price of 350. anybody else have one or can tell me if its ca compliant?

    So you bought a gun without knowing if it's on the roster or not? (I believe it's not) Not a good idea. I don't think you'll be getting the pistol.

          No it's not on the roster, but plenty of Californian's have one. They are a very capable service gun. I don't own the SA model, but I have two of the original TP-9's.
          I like them, only a little more then a thousand rounds fired between the two but perfect so far. I replaced the sights on them with Dawson Precision fiber optic sights, much better then the cheap stock plastic sights. Mags will be your biggest problem(if not LEO)hard to find and no 10 rounders that I know of. On a positive note, the mags are high quality Mec Gar. Yeah, I like earth tone guns.
