I'm down to only 20 rounds of my Federal HST 124gr +p as I wanted to test fire them. so I go online thinking I'm going to purchase more, but guess what? They are either sold out or have the price jacked sky high! Literally the only place I found them in stock they are listed at 24.99.

But when I get to the check out menu they tag on like 18 dollars in shipping, are you ****ing kidding me? Even here in our own market place people are selling them at 35$ and up. I only paid 20 something for my box of 50 back when I bought them. Pretty annoying /end rant.

Supply and demand brother. I used to grab HST standard and +p in 9 and 45 for under $20. But that was 4 years ago. I still have a few cases, Not for sale unfortunately, it's my favorite defensive ammo. I sure could make a killing

Pretty typical prices. I paid about $25 a box at SGammo a while back. Besides, 250 rounds of each caliber is about a lifetime supply unless there's a zombie apocalypse. At least it's not the 20 round boxes for $20.

Just be patient. It'll be back in stock. Have to jump on it quick.

Yep. It changes and besides plain luck some of the sites support stock alerts. When the email hits snap them up.

That's the reason I switched to Gold Dots. Much easier to find and good price.

That particular load in the HST is extremely difficult to find as you have found out. I have been on the notify list on several sites for over a year now and have got nothing. I emailed SGAmmo awhile back asking when they might get some back in stock and was told no idea as Federal was restricting shipments for some reason.

You will have to pay a premium right now if you want them. Might want to look into the Winchester Ranger T series in same grain.

there's plenty on Gunbroker, but i believe that most sellers there want a hefty amount of money for Federal HST. there may be some sleeper deals, though.

Agreed, you have to be vigilant in searching for this ammo to get a decent price on it.

That's actually a pretty good price. HST's aren't cheap.

Yeah I bought HST because it was on high on my list and it was available at the time. Gold dot and PDX1 is also excellent if HST is too hard to find. The events in Paris may be driving demand right now...
