Not new from a dealer. You do know about the Calif. Approved Handgun list don't you?

Nope. I wish they did. I would buy them right aways if they did.

Yeah I wish they were on the list too. I actually called Taurus one day and told them how much business they were losing by not making a CA legal version of one amongst other models that they just weren't sending to test. There are quite a few Taurus' that aren't on the list that I would love to have too!

Submitting it wouldn't do any good. It wouldn't meet the 1/1/2008 requirements for having an LCI and Magazine Disconnect. It's a 1911 so I doubt they are even considering adding such BS features.

I didn't think they were on the list either, but the Bass Pro flyer I got last week had them advertised for $599...I was wondering if that was a slip or not.

don't rely on the bass pro flyer, it always has guns that aren't available in california. it does the same ad for all of its stores. i think they are just trying to rub it in.

yeah its just like the Sportsman's Warehouse Flyer that you can pick up in the store that says 92FS Berreta's w/ 15 round mag. There is probably some fine print in the Ad, like there is in the sportsman's warehouse flyer. There's always CA fine print lol. Some day in CA they won't let you have any guns at all!
