I got home around 1 AM last night, I hadn't slept the night before because of the excitement. When the previous owner got to the store (he's also a member here in case you didn't notice) he showed me how to disassemble and reassemble the gun, which was very much appreciated. The gun has wood grips and a mirror finish. I had no reservations for the condition of the gun but I was very pleased with it, I wasn't expecting it to be in such nice condition.

So jealous. The only thing I want more than my very own SNS is a Hi-point 9. I've been saving up for years, just waiting for the right one to come along. If anyone knows someone selling one, I'll happily drive up to 500 miles to meet for PPT.

I really like Hi-Point as a company and I plan to send them some designs to enhance their line of apparel, or maybe I'll hold off on that because someday I would like to own the company. I just wish they'd produce a revolver. The design of a Hi-Point is so simple that there's no excuse for not getting yours to shoot reliably. It's also a very accurate gun, I get sub-1 inch groupings with mine. One thing people might not know is that Tom Deebs actually designed a "Saturday Night Special"-like gun but it has never been produced

This thread delivers! Any thread that mentions underway socks/fifi bags is a winner. I need a Phoenix HP25 I'm not as interested in the 22 seems they have too many problems. I want the 25 because I want to find the range kit 5in barrel for it since I collect odd guns.

Would basically be a target model 25 auto. I have a Mauser 1914 that is sort of like that it is large for a 25 auto and has a 9 round magazine.

I'm considering it in 25 if I can PPT it or maybe later down the road. I plan to find some good 25 ammo

Gunbroker and ebay will both have plenty.

I was able to get in contact with a Raven Arms parts dealer (could you imagine if that was how the guy's making a living?) so it looks like I'll be in good shape should anything go wrong. I'll keep an extra firing pin on hand in case anything goes wrong at the range

You SHOULD get one! The biggest reason is that SNS guns was the REASON for the stupid roster...so the biggest middle finger will be getting one!

I didn't realize that but that's a good point . . and more of a reason to have a Raven. Any gun that's condemned by liberal politicians is a good gun and one that should be advocated for . . . The only gun that I would scoff at would be a one that's championed by politicians *cough* smart guns *cough*

I almost traveled to Palm Springs area before from my area to buy a Raven because it was a very early model for $100. I saw one again recently but local for $129 but I passed it up.

Ya, you should probably hold off on re-designing their hats and shirts 'til you buy out the company. Good to see you've put lots of thought into this

hi-point's customers cant afford the extra $200 for a glock, you think that they would invest in merch redesign?

Ever hear of a the "Star" line of firearms or a CZ52?

It's not unsafe unless you are looking down the barrel, you just run the risk of having a chunk of your firing pin fly across the garage or yard.
