Custom Glock 34

So I stopped by the OC Shooting range and saw this pistol for rent. Had to test it out. Shot better than me. Awesome trigger job!

That's an interesting simile. Out of all of the Glocks I have shot, I like the 34 the best. Did you ask if they did the trigger job or was it an aftermarket trigger?

I don't understand the extra serrations on the front of the slide, what good is that? Also don't understand why the reduced weight on the slide, won't reduced weight= more muzzle flip.

Glock 34 slide is still a bit heavy for 125 factor loads used in competition. I have a G35 with a 40-9 LW conversion, steel guide rod with 13lb recoil spring. 122 grain hard cast and Titegroup clocked at 1050 FPS will eject about 3' to my right. I usually up my loads to 1100 FPS to insure reliability in ejecting and locking slide back with last shot. Lower lb rate recoil spring with start unlocking slide even with reduce power striker spring. I can reduce the slide weight which will increase slide cycling. Reducing recoil spring weight will require a severely decreased striker spring that may not ignite certain primers. For now I'll just leave it as is and live with the higher velocity of bullets. Factory rounds are just right for it.

If you're shooting limited division I don't see why not. On the other hand Production class must abide by set rules not allowing a 40-9 conversion.

The customization was done by Applied Kinetics in Fullerton. From what I was told it was a custom trigger job not a drop in trigger.

Does the 34 come stock lighter than the 17,19 etc. ? Just picked one up today and it feels like it?

Aren't you gonna get stomped shooting minor in Limited?

I don't really get into a competitive mode, I just want to shoot for me. Today I shot at the static line at Richmond Hotshots. I shot my Para/STI Limited gun because I ran out of 9mm rounds. Just wanted to see if I can still Mozambique an IPSC target at around 10 yards and ran some rounds through the Mossberg JM Pro. I left with a smile on my face.

I recently got a g34 and it had the cut out for an rmr already done. My question is do they usually come like this and if not is it worth more because of it. Also are there issue with factory cut outs?
