Hey guys,
I am recently very fond of the 1911 series, and thinking of finding a gun on the roster with those specs:
I have narrowed down to Sig Saur Stainless 1911 with Rail, and Kimber Stainless Custom TLE/RL II.
I know Kimber has QC/SC problems, and Sig seems also experienced some QC problems years ago. Personally I like the look of Kimber (with Skeleton Trigger) a bit more, but think Sig might be of better bang of the bucks (I don't hate external extractors)
How do you guys think about these two 1911's? Is Kimber QC/SC still so horrible these days? Thank you~
I am recently very fond of the 1911 series, and thinking of finding a gun on the roster with those specs:
- Stainless (already have CZ75SP01 as dark/black one, want a different color gun)
- Rail, so can mount light/laser/ (or even zombie bayonet :P)
- full size with .45 acp (not interested in compact since I can't CCW)
- night sights
- front checkering, beaver tail,
- no full length guide rod (so won't have a springfield, though they has so good QC & CS)
- no internal lock (so, no springfield)
