Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree with some posts here, but some others really look ugly TO ME. As long as you like what you have, that's great!

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Started life as a Les Baer Hardball gun, just finished installing beaver tail and had it coated.

your S&W M&P revolver is a very nice family heirloom, and congrats for having it in your collection. i currently have one .38 S&W revolver (not .38 Special), a very old S&W lemon squeezer that i recently purchased from my lgs.

Original post did not say that when I asked the question. If you look, OP edited it to reflect that after I asked. Also, it would be illegal for someone to give money to someone else with the intent of the other person to buy them a firearm.

Right on the ATF Form 4473, question 11a:

                        a. Are you the actual buyer of the firearm(s) listed on this form? Warning: You are not the actual buyer if you are acquiring
the firearm(s) on behalf of another person. If you are not the actual buyer, the dealer cannot transfer the firearm(s) to
                        you.

If he were to buy the gun FOR his brother as a gift, I think that would be perfectly legal.
