    Homeland Munitions?

Anyone ordered from them? They are new and apparently having trouble filling orders in a timely matter, but they are having a 42% off grand opening sale, and prices are already low. With 42% off, you can get 1000 rounds of 124gr FMJ 9mm for under $100. 1000 rounds of new manufacture 124gr XTP HP for 130 shipped....

So anyone know what the deal is with this? I ordered 500 rounds of 9mm for $80 shipped in early September and still have not received it, and they send out an email every few days apologizing... I can deal with the wait if they are legit, those prices are INSANE!!!

SO.... anyone know what the deal is?

I just heard of this company but im hesitant to use them. Google reviews shows 8 of 13 giving them 1 star.

Yeah I already have an order taking too long, but I have a cart with 1000 rounds of 124fmj and 1000 rounds of 124 XTP HP for 225 shipped. That is just nuts! Are they trying to undercut everyone at first to make a name for themselves? Are Most of the 1 star reviews people like me who ordered 7 weeks ago and still haven't gotten their order? If the ammo won't kaboom I'd be ok with paying half price if the wait was long... it's just all a little mind-boggling at the moment. They have brass cased rifle ammo for like 150/1000 with the 42% discount... crazy stuff...

Maybe they're using customer money to buy their goods to sell?

Like a $20 hooker if it's too good to be true...

Yeah, the pricing is just bonkers. Personally, I wouldnt mind a six or eight week delivery time frame as long as they make that clear and, as you said, it doesnt kaboom on me.

My understanding is ammo profits are pretty slim on the commercial market. Call me jaded but it seems it might be too good to be true. I wonder if a cross post in the general forum might yield more responses.

That said, I still want them to be a legit company.

They were listed on AmmoSeek on September 1, so I placed an order.
The conditions were that it would take 1 to 3 weeks to fill.
They processed my CC payment immediately. ..

They have since been removed from AmmoSeek.
They have a new website that is incomplete and I cannot track my order.
They offer a chat option that coincidentally always times out with a message they are offline and please send a message.
If they are legit I will give them the time they need.
I don't think they are a fraud because they publish the names of the owners.
The discounts they are offering however seem to leave no room for profit.

I'm rooting for them and hope they come through with their promises.
If they do, they have a customer here.
If not I will spend a lot of time making sure they hit a lot of bumps in the road for defrauding the trusting public.

One could always order and then dispute the charge If it doesn't come thru in a reasonable time. I am worried that their QC will be crappy, I wonder if weighing the cartridges would be able to tell if there was a double charge or squib load or anything like that? (I'm not yet a reloader, just throwing that out there if anyone would know the answer.. and how precise of a scale would one need to be able to tell about this if it is viable... and/or whether variance in case weight would throw this idea off?)

Same boat, have you been getting a lot of emails with various excuses? I can understand and sympathize with a new company having bumps getting going and am not pissed yet or anyrhing, but it's been well over 3 weeks.

I used to work with a hilarious Russian dude who would pick up hookers in oakland, drive 20 miles while being serviced, then get to Hayward/union city etc and tell them "well, I don't have my wallet, so you can either get out here or I'll give you a ride back. No money either way, though"

He was a classy guy lmao.

I have gotten 3 email messages, one as a result of an email I sent to them asking them to refund if they could not fill the order.
Under the old webpage the status of my order changed from "Waiting" to "Processing" about 8 or 10 days ago.
The new webpage allows you to log in but cannot find "My Account"
I wonder how many folks are in the same situation.

Same. Ordered August 28 and no product. Just emailed them saying give me an ETA or cancel it. Freedom Munitions has good prices and free shipping and I've received multiple orders in the time I've waited for Homeland.

Has anyone actually received anything from these guys? It looks like a scam to me. Bait everyone with the crazy sale then dissappear.

                          It sounds like a scam.

Their website says "integrity" like 5 times, it can't be a scam!

If they are a scam, they initially fooled AmmoSeek as well.
