ruger mark II extractor

is the extractor on the ruger mark II the same as the extractor on the 10/22? I have seen some websites that are selling after market extractors that say 10/22 / Mk-II. looking at diagrams of both stock extractors they appear identical. anyone know for sure?

They look the same to me as well. Looking at the reviews of the VQ extractor on www.rimfiresports.com, both the 10/22 and Mk. III are mentioned together.

I've got the VQ in both my 22/45 and my 10/22. Good stuff.

I think they are the same, I was thinking about getting the VQ for my Mark III. Supposed to help stop jams quite a bit.
