The Sig Site currently only lists a 12 round 9mm subcompact kit!
Thus cannot be shipped to California.
I have called and talked to Rep Ryan and they will swap out the magazine with a ten rounder and ship it to you in California as long as a ten round magazine is in stock. This is what he said that a phone call is what it takes.

Start here at the SIG SAUER Store online! Browse featured products, parts, accessories, sale items, back in stock and top sellers!

      That's nice.

      I made two statements:
      1) Sig has been listing 10rnd kits on their web site for several months
      This is a FACT

      2) You can order those kits without having to call Sig.
      This is also correct

You are also correct that there are SOME kits that are not listed on their web site. However, that in no way makes my original statement "wrong".

Please also note that I was responding to the OP, who stated that NO 10rnd kits were available on the web site, and that the ONLY way to order ANY 10rnd kits was to call Sig.

They only have 10 rd kits for some not all. They only have 3 or 4 different kits in 10rnd on their website usually. The 2 kits i wanted I've never seen on their website or any others.

Yes you did make 2 correct statements but that info is also general knowledge for people interested in p320 conversion. The point of the post was to show you can get what you want not what's only on the website.

There really isn't any need to troll this post. It's just information not an opinion.

Sorry for rocking the boat and you are correct in your statements. It just seams the people were trying to add some help here and there thru the post to help people get something that may not be listed for sale in the configuration needed to ship to California. This is a mostly California Forum and we must work thru some hoops together. Again I am sorry for rocking the boat!

              Hi Jay_Cue,
I'm the one who posted on SigForum that I'm working on converting my P320 9/357/40 FCU into a .45 FCU.

I own a 9mm P320 and waiting on the 1 part I believe is needed to convert the FCU to a .45 FCU.

Once I have the part, I will post again. In the meantime I am looking for anyone with a .45 cal FCU who resides in CA. to use as a baseline.

I don't get why 400 bucks to shoot a diff caliber is so exciting, when that's nearly the cost of a new polymer gun. And with a glock, m&p. Xd, xdm, etc you can get 40/9/357sig conversion barrels for around 100 bucks.

People will spend their dough how they want, and I will give unsolicited commentary as I see fit

Can you also change between sizes without first locating an off-roster gun and than going through DROS and the 10-day wait?

So it would be like getting a G26, G19 and G17 and only having to go through DROS once...plus they'd mail 2 of the 3 to your home

Because that is what the SIG 320 is...off roster.

I'll gladly go through DROS 2 more times to get 2 more Gen 3 Glocks than pay the equivalent for a slide and barrel.
                    Apples vs. oranges comparison.

A comparable comparison, using the Glock platform, would be a set of Gen 4 Glocks

Which other variations, size wise, of off-roster pistol, which you got via SSE, can you still get without jumping through a bunch of hoops...certainly not a VP9, PPQ, or XdM...like you can with the 320

i saw the comparison of the .45 vs the 9/357/40 sig p320 chassis and the .45 is much beefier and built to handle the .45. i was a little disappointed that the .45 is a different gun but then again there wasn't even talks of a .45 320 when i got mine.

but keeps us posted on what you find.
