If you can not find a 20 to rent or hold, a 21 might do as the lowers are the same.

In case not know, the 21/30 can convert to 10mm with a barrel and magazine swap, just to add a little versatility. A complete upper is required to go the other way around from 10mm to .45acp.

Else, just get the 20SF, because it's easier to add 1mm of grip tape than to shave of 1mm off polymer. Besides, I think the 20 are discontinued and only the 20SF are made now.

Contact me via PM if you want to shoot a magazine from my Gen4 G20. We can play with the inserts so you can see G20 vs G20SF (assuming Gen3).

Reed's in Santa Clara is my home spot.

It won't be exactly the same as Gen3, but damn close.

Just buy a 20 or 20sf, I love mine, quickly becoming one of my favorites.

If you have a 1911 in 45 acp, get a slide, barrel, and a few other parts and put one together.

Buy a 21sf and conversion barrel, spring, guide rod and mag. If you get the 20 the breech face of the slide won't work for 45acp.

I just jailed a 21sf and I'm waiting to move so I can run a threaded barrel. I have a 1006 that I shoot until then and it's a dream to shoot (a heavy dream)

Also the new sig 10mm ammo is great stuff and reasonable priced.

                  Good luck

Sounds like you're wanting a Sig P220 Match Elite in 10mm. Looks like a beauty queen, curves in the right places that feels awesome and natural. She is fitted nicely and can can handle full power 10mm like an Amazon warrior.

That's what I would do since we're behind the iron curtain. If you decide to modify an existing 1911 pistol think ramped barrel and a heavy cone lock up. A 6" slide with a heavy cone lock up barrel will tame the hottest 10mm. Check out uncle Ted's custom STI 10mm. Now that's my dream 10mm!

Does anyone know if you can put a 10mm 220 slide on a standard 220 frame?

                      I really want a Sig 220 10mm.

I just called Sig. You cannot convert a regular 220 to 10mm
