Help with any advice:
I purchased a CZ P-01, picked it up, brought her home, cleaned it, went to the range, and the first magazines were doing fine, then all of the sudden it started to jam.
I slapped the magazine in, release the slide, press the trigger bang,
next press of the trigger, nothing. safely inspected what happened, and the slide did not reset all the way.
I ejected the magazine, manually pull the slide back to see, and the round did not feed properly. it was at an (exaggerated) 45 degree to the barrel.
(excuse my improper use of terminology in gun parts).
Anywhos, I cleared the round, check safe and inserted the magazine in.
Press trigger, bang!
Press trigger bang!
Press trigger, FTF, same problem.
This happened about 25% of the time through, I'd say 100 rounds.
Question:
Is there a break in period?
Could it be the magazine that came with it?
Did I over lubricated? I know I definitely didn't under-lube it.
Is it an ammo issue? I was just using LAXAMMO reloads.
I'll clean it and take it out again to see.
Nonetheless, when it did fire properly, it was nice. I still liked my Sig trigger a little better. I shot my Sig that day and like always, it was flawless.
Thanks Gunners!
