    380 acp

Hello all I was just wondering what a good 380 pistol was I would most likely be buying it used because cost is a factor in my purchase I love the look of the silver finish and the look of the ppk but the ppk is not in the budget wish it was thanks keith

I have a Bulgarina Makarov that has functioned flawless , It came in 9x18 but the barrel can be changed to 380 . They go for about $225+

A Beretta 84 or 85, Colt Mustang or Gov't 380, Browning 84, Taurus PT58 (if you can find one), A Walther PPK, a Sig 230/232. Oh wait, you said budget.

How about a Bersa? For around $250 it's not a bad deal. I have a Bernardelli 80 and it shoots accurately and reliably, but I haven't really put more than 100 rounds through it.

I bought a Bersa 380 for my wife a while back. She had a hard time racking the slide on all my other semis which is why I bought it. By far the easiest slide to rack. I shot about a 100 rounds through it with no issues at all. I believe it is issued to a South American country's Air Force.

Seems like there are a lot of .380s coming out. Kahr has a new one (on the cover of G&A new issue), Ruger has one, Beretta's always had one, Bersa is good if you are on a budget and don't want to shell out $600 for a real PPK. Check out this CZ too, very nice:

I'm sure that CZ is a shooter but boy is it FUGLY! Just my opinion of course. I don't personally own one but I have read good things about the Bersa and most reviews of it seem to be positive.

Let us know what you get because I too am looking for a good lady's gun for the misses.

For a low end .380 a Bersa has quite a following and good reputation. For a high end pistol the Sig 232 is one of the finest.

Another +1 for the Bersa. Very accurate for their size, inexpensive, and reliable too. What's not to like?
