    Building AR pistol. 80%lower

Hey everyone, I'm sorry if you guys are tired of hearing of this subject being talked about but I can't find nothing on this. Well is it still legal to build a AR pistol in California out of a 80%? And if so is there anywhere in LongBeach ca or surrounding areas LA county OC where I can have it milled?

It's legal but you cant have it milled by someone else. You have to do it yourself with your own tools

It is legal to make a dimensionally compliant single-shot bolt-action pistol or a dimensionally compliant single-shot break-top/open pistol from an "80% receiver".

Dimensionally compliant meaning having a minimum 6" barrel length and minimum 10.5" overall length.

In addition, in order to be totally legal, you will need to mill out (finish) the "80% receiver" using your own tools.

Thanks a lot guys really appreciate it. I've always wanted a ar pistol on December 15 2014 I had to choose which one to get so I went with the AK pistol c39 but now I regret not getting 1 ar and 1 ak so now I have to build my own.

You don't have to build your own...
