    Les Baer recommendation

I have two on hold and only getting one...would you get the Premier ii for $1750 or the Thunder Ranch Special for $1950. What's the difference besides grips, sights and one having ambi safety. Is the trs worth the $200 extra

    Thanks

    Keep both?

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Sorry I wasn't very clear...it's on hold at the gun store and I can only afford one

You pretty much nailed the differences.

Premier has adjustable target sight, thicker grips, ambi safety, and 2x 8rd mags.
TRS has Novak night sights, thinner grips, solid trigger, and 3x 7rd mags.

Of the two I'd pick the TRS but only because I like the non-adjustable sights and non-ambi safety, it just appeals to me more.

Just to add, the Premier is a better value since it's cheaper and would be easier to sell and recoup costs, and the TRS is configured more as a carry gun.

It wasn't for me - ordered my Pll with fixed sights, single side safety & deleted FCS.

also the Premier ii has a wide safety and I dont know if that will be a problem when holstering the gun.

Hmmm. What do you prefer? Get the one you like!

Thunder Ranch holds 7 rds versus 8 on the Premier.

To me they are the same minus the differences you pointed out and the round count.

I personally prefer adjustable sights and have a Premier with the 1.5 in guarantee. It also has some other options.

But yeah I guess the main thing is the sights as that's what you look at when shooting.

And congrats! You can't go wrong with either! I love my Baer and my most favorite!

I was going to order without the FCS and single safety but Les Baer customer service said if they change config that it will no longer be cali legal.

TR is a rock solid pistol! I've been through a couple of courses. A 2 day & a 3 day. Either direction you go should be nothing short of a workhorse.
Pretty much nailed the differences. That being said I have 9 more days til I pickup my P2😄

If you are going to order out of state and sent to your dealer, go here:

John may have your configuration in stock.

The $200 was worth it to me. The TR carries well. Different applications. Mine came from John as well. He loves to chat
