Locked up baby!

Jailed it tonight. I've been wanting to add one of these to my little collection for some time, but either price or availability interfered.

I've been squirreling money away for a while, thought I was saving for a Match Champion Earlier this year I thought I was saving for the MC and walked out with a P-01 instead.

The last couple of days I started thinking about the 9mm Loaded a lot, then this morning I open the weekly Turner's ad and BAM! They're on sale for $929.00 plus the free extra mags and gear.

I took it as a sign from the gun Gods that I was destined to have it.

I went to my LGS and told them they had first shot if they wanted to price match Turner's and they said okay, came down from $1050 to $929. I like Turner's fine (Kearney Mesa) but all things being equal I'd rather give the small shops the business when I can.

You will be blown away by how easy it is to shoot compared to .45. I just picked up a 9mm Range Officer and can't believe I waited so long, I've wanted one forever but kept finding other guns I couldn't live without

Mine was purchased 4 days before the Sept.1 start of the Springfield GiveAway, but they apparently allowed me to use my DROS pickup date of Sept. 6th as my application got approved for the free package to come

Curious, which LGS? Was going to head to Turner in KM tomorrow for the exact same deal but would prefer to give the little guy my business.

On their website it states they ship you magazines for the gun based on the serial number. Most likely they just pull them off the shelves with the rest that gets sent to retailers.

Congrats! Great price too! I just got the same at riflegear for $949. Get to pick it up on 10/9. Gonna break her down & make her better. De-horn w/complete bead blast matte finish, ed brown magwell, STI trigger/trigger job, dawson fiber front sight, & VZ gunner grips. Then she'll be mine!!

I was looking at Springfield Armory Custom Shop's pricing and I was surprised how expensive a custom 1911 can get.
