Iggy, works for the California DOJ.

He was one of the supporters to ban bullet buttons, if I recall right.

        refer to the thread below,

          Joe...

I would not worry about the communication. I suspect that the question was legitimate...that he is following up on a quest to find more issues or dangers to pursue...perhaps from a different angle.

Just my take, but if I were looking to be manipulative as you fear he might, I would not use my real name on FB as he apparently has.

          But that's just me...

Did Ignatius have a sex change? No mention in many years here that he (or she) was a tranny.

            I'm also confused.

              My mistake on the typo.

Then again, maybe he's more sly with disguises than previously thought.

I believe the Ignatius "Iggy" chinn that worked for the DOJ was for lack of a better term "dishonorably discharged" from the DOJ. If I remember correctly his methods and ethics came into question. He was the epitome of the law enforcement type of officer that let his power go to his head. Ultimately, I believe he was let go by the DOJ for these reasons. I think if you spends some time searching his name you will find lots of historical info on Iggy's behavior at the DOJ.

So an ex-member of DOJ was asking if there was an extraction problem on your Hi Power. Why worry? Or there are more to the story?

                      Iggy is why we have

Worked for DOJ, went to OPD, and then SFPD. That was the last I heard.

                          Anyone remember "chainsaw?"

He, or possibly she , worked on Yee's bullet button ban, but admitted to owning bb'd ARs?

Very smart and well spoken, gun owner, that also was actively trying to ban our gun configurations?

Does he/she still post ? Its been a while since i checked out those forums.

"Sporter" is what the drooling toothless inbred albino with the hacksaw thinks his newly created "dear riffel" is.
"Bubba" is what he and his ugly and ruined rifle really are.
First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.
Next thing you know, you think "Deliverance" is a love story.

OP, you should be very worried! j/k

If someone from the DOJ asked me about an extraction problem using their real name, I wouldn't be suspicious of anything. I'm willing to bet a lot of DOJ employees are hypocritical gun owners.

I always wondered what happened to Iggy. The last we heard about him was he was the oldest graduate of the SF Police academy and was given a desk job so he can retire in peace. All wood desks in CA are safe now, because of him.

OP, you are being set up by Iggy. Just tell him you like hot mangos on a first moon evening, in a cryptic voice like you're a spy making contact with your handler, and see his response. Watch out for the black helicopters.

I remember chainsaw. She was an antigun agitator who was here to see what we were up to. At least she was honest and admitted she was antigun, unlike some of the Brady trolls who show up to target the tin-foil hat crowd (lunatic fringe) with paranoid conspiracies.
