    Sig 516 pistol

Thinking about picking up a Sig 516 AR pistol to go with my Sig 516 AR.

Sorry if this question has been asked before but does the pistol need a bullet button? It will probably use the Sig Brace. I am looking online for who sells this pistol and don't see any mention of a bullet button. Sorry about the newb question, am new to the AR pistol world.

Does the lack of a telescoping stock do away with the bullet button requirement?

While I'm on the subject, anyone here own one? Likes, dislikes? Could I do better building one myself? Really happy with my Sig 516 AR and like the piston system but give me any feedback if you have any. Thanks.

Unless you're LEO or find one used in CA you're SOL on buying a new one in CA due to its off-roster status.

That said, I don't have one to comment on.

I do have an Olympic Arms K23P AR pistol. I bought it last year when SSE 1.0 was still in effect.

      It requires a bullet-button.

I chose not to put a Sig Brace on it due to unknown legality.

A telescoping stock would turn it into a short barreled rifle -- Not CA legal.

Mine has been reliable and fun to shoot.

        It needs a BB.

Thanks. Weird that it needs a bullet button like a rifle but subject to the roster like a pistol. Worst of both worlds [emoji57]
