I actually just saw their TPS grips and they don't look bad. I could do without the magpul on the bottom of the grip but other wise they look alright. I am partial to VZ's ETC grips myself but like you said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I had a set and I didn't like them. I think they are for short fingers. Quality was good though.

I like the Kimber double diamonds also. The VZ line is a great product dont get me wrong. I do have the Aliens in black and gray , and the slants in dirty olive. I just wanted to share my new find for the other 1911 lovers.

First off, Jonzer that looks amazing!

OP I didn't even know that Magpul made 1911 grips, I think they're cool, but I still prefer plain ole wood grips like the double diamond checkered Rosewoods on my SA 1911 GI/Custom and the smooth Walnut on my RIA Commander, but as long as those Maggies are functional that is all that really matters!

I love my Magpul gear I have on my DPMS AR15 and Remington 870. The adjustable stock on my 870 has made it a lot easier to shoot. That and I think it looks good in FDE.

I threw a set on my Kimber TLE stainless to try them out. They are great grips for the price.

Are they thinner than the stock TLE grips? I was interested in some thinner 1911 grips for mine.

Just so you know there are two different grips. The tsp has a rougher texture. I have both and I like the tsp more because of the texture.
