Haven't been to the LGS for about 5-6 months.. Yesterday Walked in and ended up putting down some cash on a TRP railed.. Was kinda hesitant but today I m pretty happy I did. Paid $1450 plus fees.. Came out to $1580 otd.

Any reccs on what I need for the TRP? It lol be my first 1911. Pretty excited!

Just more ammo. I think it comes with one piece recoil rod. I'd change it to gi set-up.

Good starting 1911... got all the whistles and bell... keep it stock and go enjoy....

Most people will tell you to replace MIM parts, but keep it factory.

Railed or full railed? Been looking for a railed myself, can't seem to find them here in CA what with the roster.

Nice trigger. Highly accurate. It will likely be your favorite gun.

It's the full rail. Did I get a good price on it?

How does the TRP compare to the MC operator and champion? What's the difference?

Fantastic price. . .the only one I have seen at that price was a used one at Martin B. Retting and it was missing accessories, and was definitely an older gun.

They are about $200 more near me. I would buy one at the price you paid without a 2nd thought. I wouldn't buy one for the prices around me.
