The list is typically going to go like this

    1) Ammo
    2) Ammo
    3) Sights
    4) Extended controls (mag and slide release)
    5) Trigger work (25c trigger job, connector, trigger bar, or any combination of)

edit: People are also going to probably mention more ammo.

edit2: I personally have meprolight tritiums (orange and green), zev tech trigger assembly, agency arms magwell (mostly aesthetic), factory glock extended controls and a TLR1-HL that bounces between different guns I own.

imo, there isnt anything that is a must. you might consider nights sights if you really have the need to spend money

Sights and Glock (-) connector if this is your HD/SD weapon.

The only thing I needed was a beaver tail grip as I get slide bite.

Hackthorn sights are a pretty good upgrade over stock polymer sights.

The ammo is coming along but no I don't have lots of money but I would like to drop money on it someday. But I do like the trigger pull on it currently. Nobody thinks the steel guide rods or pins is a good idea?

Apex failure resistant extractor w/ Glock 30274 ejector and non-LCI spring loaded bearing.

The connector is for softer trigger pull?

The ISMI steel guide rod and recoil springs are a good upgrade.

lighter trigger pull. It reduces from ~5.5 pounds to ~4.5 pounds.

I've done triggers, sent a glock to TTI, have Orange County custom triggers, stippled, serrated , etc and I think the best thing you can do is take a sharpie and black out the rear sight and practice. My shooting has improved as a result of training not trigger work. Matter of fact the one 17 I shoot most has the stock trigger.

TTI trigger is a little mushy but breaks clean and the reset is amazing, the Orange County trigger is great , especially for oem parts and 60$.

I've tried the lighter triggers. Ended up putting the stock trigger back in.
Personally, I like the mushy predictable "stop" right before the trigger breaks. Keyword, predictable.

I use my Glock exclusively for HD. Nothing fancy.

That said, I would agree with most people here about replacing the sights.
With my tired eyes, I go with a serrated all-black rear, and tritium yellow/green front.

Your mileage may vary. Happy shooting!

The Vickers mag release worked well for me, it's sort of in-between the Glock standard and extended.

Youre not going to really notice the difference with a steel or tungsten guide rod. Unless you have 30 bucks to spare for something aesthetic go for it. But dont throw your money at it expecting for it to make a huge difference in your group sizes.
