Your SF looks super clean. I would love to see a shot of the crowned muzzle and the french boarders. You got any pics?
Edit: nvm apparently I took some on my phone and forgot. The quality is considerably crappier but you can see the french border much better.

      Thanks for the range report.

When you get a chance (time, ammo, etc.), will you do a comparison among the 3 1911's you mentioned? I am curious to hear your impressions of your new gun against the Pro and the Talon as far as shooting.

      Thanks.

I'm actually working on something like that now, writing up the physical comparison ie non-range part before I take them all three out to the range together.

Looking forward to that report, as well. Thanks.

            Shameless picture post...

She likes two things; getting dirty and taking pictures! Cleaning session after 500 rounds.

            Finally she was all clean!

Haha awesome pics love to see people that actually run the crap out of their gun.

Those are some nice 1911 pics. I'm pretty set on my gunsmith (www.ocgunsmith.com), but, I'll have to look up Alchemy Custom Weaponry. Cheers! --1911ShooterPhil

I've heard nothing but good things about OC Gunsmith and have spoken to him (his name escapes me at the moment) on the phone before. He seems like he really knows his stuff, would probably use him for smaller jobs I don't want to send out like ambi safety fitting etc.

Mark Bunach. He's a good gunsmith (on more than 1911's). But, I always keep my ear close to the ground for other 1911 gunsmiths. Cheers! --1911ShooterPhil

You know the idea of sending high end 1911s to be worked on never occured to me. But not that it's come up, maybe my Specialist will be making a visit out there someday...

Random question... where did your frame's serial go??

As far as the gun itself, it looks fantastic!

I photoshop'ed them out as that appears to be a safety precaution people take (though I'm not 100% sure it's necessary). Thanks!
