    Custom engraving on handgun

I wanted to do this a while ago but got side track with car issues, now I want to get it finished. I remember someone here saying they do this type of work and while I can find places in order states or South Cal I'm looking for someone in the Bay area.
Anyone? Any help would be nice

What kind of gun is it? I cannot imagine that this would help the value.

Value is selective and a personal taste, appeal and fascination in one's own mind. Hence the saying "one mans junk is another man's treasure". One person can spend thousandths on an item that another won't spend two cents on. Value in a market is determine by the want or need of a individual or group.
Since I'm not selling, it has no value to anyone but me and till I finish what I'm planning on doing the value to me will only grow if the job is done right. Thats why I hoping to find someone whos done worked on hand guns before.
The gun is a Beretta 92FS Brigadier Border Marshal, I just need some engraving on the slide. Hoping to get it over with soon.

Whatever you do, check their work before you pull the trigger!
This is one of those "pricing shouldn't matter things", you want it done exactly the way you want. I've seen beautiful work that anyone would be proud of and I've seen hacks.
Once they start, your all in.
Keep us posted, I'm thinking about it myself.

          ditto

Ditto, 44 Fred ... Find a master engraver..... not someone who SAYS they are an engraver..... be prepared to pay a fair sum of money.... you will most likely get what you pay for.... good luck!

Laser engraving should not be so expensive, and it's kind of difficult to mess that up. Lot's of advantage to this, with some disadvantages.

If you want hand engraving, check out their work before anything.

Yeah I was thinking the Laser engraving, it seem to be less cost and less chance of an issue, more symmetrical for what I want
