Got my Utah CCW!

I need to take an out of state trip! My Utah CCW came in the mail today. I was surprised, as it is about 2 1/2 weeks short of the predicted "60 days after cashing the check" delivery.

I've already picked up a piece for carry(I get to pick it up next week) and I'm shopping for a suitable holster now.

I was looking at the link on the top of the page and I saw that group that trains in San Diego. God it would be *****ing if CA allowed the Utah permit. I'd like to get one but.. It's only good while you are on vacation. Doest do any good here!!

California will not allow a ccw to regular, law abiding citizens. California feels that their protection is good enough. Salinas has just celebrated it's 25th murder this year. I am truly convinced the only reason we do not have more home invasions are the cowards that do this don't know who is armed and ready to protect themselves and who is not.

And he doesn't realize that CCW is rather common, depending on where you live. It's not that California won't allow it; its that your sheriff won't allow it.
