Glock 40 10mm

Just ordered a glock 40 10mm from the LAPD gun store. Wait time they said is 4 months. price is 650.

I would rather not wait the 4 months if I can help it. Does anyone know where I can get one of these in Los Angeles area for a comparable price in less time?

The point with it being off roster is it will be extremely rare for a store to stock that firearm on the off chance a roster exempt individual walks in looking for that specific Glock model. You're almost certainly going to have to special order it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't a roster exempt person online order off roster guns and just dros them at the ffl such as commoner would a roster gun?

Try Proforce in Brea or Addax Tactical in San Fernando. Both are Blue Label dealers (LE pricing) and can sell you the Gen4/off roster version with high capacity mags. Proforce is more likely to have a good stock of Glocks that are popular with LE (not that the 10mm is, but they keep tons of Glocks in stock), but Addax should be able to get whatever you want in a week or so if Proforce is out (Addax doesn't stock much blue label stuff if I recall, but are very LE friendly). Also the OC range across from Proforce can get Gen4 Blue label Glocks too I think.

I would buy an upper to swap on my G41. Hmmm. BRB. Maybe my long barrel will fit my G41........?

EDIT. No. The slide on the G41 is for a pencil, thin walled barrel. The G20 barrel is too fat to fit.......
