    Fixing old HK P7M8 sites

    Hi,

I purchased a HK P7M8 with aftermarket night sites but the previous owner also provided the original sites. I prefer standard 3 dot or 2 dot sites. These things are pretty small and looking at the picture, they look pretty beat up. Do you think these can be saved and repaired?

They look like they need paint they don't look beat up from that photo.

If you want the stock sites back in get a nylon or brass punch and a hammer and tap them in.

And before some goober says something about how it won't work it works just fine I've done a few of them.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Does anyone know where I start in replacing the left insert? I was told that it's a 4mm. Would a gunsmith carry these things or is there a vendor that sells this sort of stuff?

Call Hk...when I got my refurb the inserts fell out while shooting....they not only sent me the inserts, they threw in another set of sights....now mind you, this was 8 years ago...I hear they can be less than helpful these days...some say it all depends on who you get.....either way you should be able to snag some for free or pay a minimal charge.
3 day waiting period???? but I'm mad now!!!!!!
