Slightly off topic, but better than turning this into a Glock luvin' or hatin' thread... What will be a "good" price for a Witness Elite Match in CA via PPT?

If you get the TS in 40 you can get a 9mm barrel to fit and shoot. Barrel sometimes needs fitting. I bought my TS 40 used and it came with 9mm barrel.Comment

Yeah, I figured that prices in CA for off roster guns range around 25-35% markup if used and 35-50% if new. That's the price we pay to live in this Golden State.Comment

It's $ 976 from gallery of guns. Socal would be 1400-1500

The normal CZ 75's has the better ergonomics, at least for me.
Option: SP-01 + with some Cajun or CZ Custom parts to SAO. I think out the door will be under a CA Tanfoglio's asking price. I cannot say the Tanfoglio are worth it this year. Not selling mine though, it was worth it last year.Comment

Wow, $595 is an awesome price. I paid way more than that when I got mine via SSE last year.
I was thinking along the lines of $1,300 primarily because it is a comparable gun to a TS, which sells at around $1,200 plus tax. Then all the benefits and disadvantages of the Match against the TS are just a wash to make it easy. Used would be around $1,100 and as @osis32 pointed out, not very many Match owners will sell theirs for $900 - $1,000 anyways.
So OP, weigh this against your decision. Are you willing to pay the same amount of money for the Match over a TS? Although I already told you my pick based on my preference, and not even considering the price, your pick may not be the same as your preference and what you value may be totally different.
In any case, good luck with your decision! Let us know what you end up with when you do.One Way to Post Pics ********** How to Submit an iTrader Rating That Counts ********** Brass for Sale

I have not fired the EAA, but I have fired the TS twice at local shoots.
I couldn't miss with the thing. For the money, it does a pretty good impersonation of a $2K match pistol.
For the price, the polymer trigger bothers me, but when firing, I didn't notice it at all.
Having half the mag capacity in CA does suck, but that;'s the case for everything now. You used to be able to get .40 TS guns, but I'm not sure if they're on roster or not. Then you only lose 40% capacity

I sure wouldn't sell my lightly used match in 45 with natural 10rd mags for a grand. There's nothing like it. 1400ish like spoken about in the gallery of guns refrencing post above.... well... I'd definitely consider it because I might have a way to get another but the hassle would be worth at least 500 on time/money. Strange to say, I wouldn't even consider it gouging because it's not far from the replacement cost if you figure my time is worth anything. And I would *definitely* need to get another. I have yet to shoot a gun that pew pew's better. Crazy market we're in.Comment

The CZ would suit my needs better. Which for a heavy pistol like these is range use/matches. I just think the Tactical Sport is better suited to race.Comment

Were they ever on the roster? If your in a free state they are pretty reasonably priced.
They arent the only CZ derivative. There is also the Sphinx and IWI Jericho 941Last edited by Tere_Hanges; 09-05-2015, 9:12 PM.CRPA and NRA member.
