Rock Island Armory TAC 2011 VZ

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for answering my question.

I see in the CA Roster of Handguns that the RIA 1911 TAC is authorized for sale.
Does the one I linked below fall in the same category?

I'd call Buds and ask. They also have a complete list of what's Ca compliant on their website.

On top of it not being on the roster Buds will not ship an off roster handgun to California.

I have seen one that looks very similar to that one locally, also railed. It was in the new gun case too. Searching up online was no help.

The CA approved RIA tac 5 is not something with a rail etc. It has most of the upgrades you want in a 1911 . But it still looks GI. for 50 bucks extra you get nice features.
The hard case on the one i just got says
                  M 1911 A1 45 ACP PISTOL FS TACTICAL

FS stands for full size [ 5 inch barrel ].
I am a lousy shot and i put 4 out of 5 rounds within a 3 inch circle with one flyer at 25 yards. get one, dam good pistol. three times out with good and cheap ammo without one failure. Picked up a 15 dollar magazine at the gun show and it also works fine. These pistols are not picky about ammo or mags. I used steel case TULA from WM today and it liked it.

That's good shooting for most @ 25 yards regardless of the brand of 1911. Well done.

But I get point on the RIA being a great gun/value.

I have one that looks like that but with a magwell too. Part #51485 I had to get it SSE back in the day. It's a lot of gun for the $$.
