Is this gun ever gonna be on the CA roster? I thought that revolvers don't have a microstamp requirement just yet.

Ruger New Redhawk CA compliant?

Revolvers are not subject to the microstamping fantasy technology that semi-auto pistols must include to be added to the CA Approved Handgun Roster. The only issues preventing a revolver from being added are that the manufacturer must submit copies for testing (and pay the extortion fees) and the firearm in question must pass the (chuckle) safety test."A vote is like a rifle; it's usefulness depends upon the character of the user." - Theodore Roosevelt -

Nice gun. I have the 45Colt with the 4.2 barrel and it shoots great. I use the cowboy loads for paper and have the BB bear loads for the bucket list trip to Alaska. Kinda nice that the new one shoots 45ACP but my 1911s would devour them before the Ruger even got a chance.Comment

Underwood ammo sells a ruger load that clocks a 265 grain copper solid at 1400 fps. That's pretty hot!Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.Comment

Thanks to the handgun roster's Single Action Exemption, no it doesn't. If the revolver has it's double action sear removed it can be sold legally. After delivery there is nothing to prevent you from having the DA sear reinstalled.
