It already has, sorta. Wal mart's dropped their BB by a dollar.

All the hoarding of all things gun related certainly doesn't help however. Don't expect it to drop like gas prices have.

I believe ammo prices will start falling soon. The decline in copper and lead prices has been severe. Ammunition is a competitive business, with quite a number of vendors in the market.

I'm not sure how much of an impact the Iraq War has on the small arms ammuniton supply, but Obama's intent to pull the troops probably can't hurt ammo prices.

Lead and copper have gone down, way down...bullets and brass are the most expensive components of a round, and will fall shortly. If demand falls because people stop freaking that Obama is going to prevent them from buying ammo, a hoax if there ever was one and a direct contradiction to his stated (repeatedly) position on guns and ammo...the prices will fall quickly and steeply.

What the state of california will do to ammo taxes is anyones guess, but how many people die a year from guns, and how many people die from booze and cigarettes?

I don't tell people anymore how man guns or how much ammo I have. I was at a party once and a lady was bragging about her beenie babie collection, 600 bennie babies. When I told her I collected guns she rolled her eyes and said, ohhhhhhh one of those? Like I am the nut in the conversation, lol.

I sold 3 of my wifes beenie babies for $700 to a dealer no less. I think we had about $15 invested in all 3. Best turnover I ever did.
