    Finally found something that works

    Slip 2000

I always had a love / hate feeling when I would shoot my GP100, I never could get it clean.

This is as good as it ever got after a range day

    [IMG][/IMG]

after about 10 minutes of soaking then hit it with a soft brass brush

Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

    Good info, thanks.

Did you clean the tight spaces around the barrel as well?
I have used the lead removal cloth, but it does not clean the hard to reach areas very well.

OK what are you trying to say here? I'm not seeing it.

by the way I have no dog in this hunt, I just have been hearing about this on some of the podcasts I listen to and thought I would try it.

I just got it in from Amazon about 30 min ago I thought I would give it a try. the pictures speak for themselves.

Wonder how this would work on removing carbon from an AK piston. I've always had a hard time removing the carbon build up on the piston head. Might have to give this a try.

I've tried many carbon removers. Most don't work. Bore Tech C4 is really good and it looks like the Slip 2000 is really good too. Going to try some.

Did the breech end of that barrel come from the factory like that? Looks like the edges are rounded over in the pic like it's been wire brushed.

Slip 2K makes the best products for cleaning IMO. I've been using their extreme use lube for about 7-8 years and it works wonders.

Slip 2000 products work great and they won't fry your internal organs. I prefer good Kentucky bourbon for that.
