Charter Arms

I would like to purchase a 9mm revolver from Charter Arms.
#79920-Rimless. The models name is Pitbull.
I like the fact that it comes in 9mm. I have a Sig Sauer 9mm.
It also is supposed to be light and have a low recoil-for my wife.
However, I have not read any reviews.
Does anyone have any comments?

Not on the roster. It will be hard to find.

Actually, in the case of this one, it's going to be impossible to find.

In 9mm revolvers you are looking at a Ruger LCR or a Smith 929. Both require moon clips. The LCR is very light, possibly on the snappy end. The Smith costs about $1,000.

I'd recommend you stick with .38 or .357 unless the LCR appeals to you.

Ruger LCR is your only on roster small revolver in 9mm as far as I know.

I saw today at Omni Firearms web site that they had this particular hand gun available.
I watched a video of the guy who tests out firearms. You know him from his a ZZ Top type beard.
Charter Arms has a new way of extracting spent shells with out the need for "moon clips," whatever the hell those are.
PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE cHARTER ARMS WEB SITE regarding their product.
The cost of this handgun is under $600.00

You're not understanding what we are telling you. By California law, you cannot buy the revolver you are referring to because it is not on the "safe handgun" roster.

Unless you're not a California resident...then, go nuts but very few people on this forum will be able to tell you anything about this gun because it is not for sale in California.

SAE has size and barrel length loopholes to jump through as well so no SAE on a snub revolver.

If you do not live in CA, go to www.budsgunshop.com and order one to a gun shop in your area. Their website is user friendly and you should be able to find an FFL in your area who does business with them. If not, have your dealer of choice send them a copy of their FFL. Easy as pie. I dealt with BudsGunShop and got 3 Charter Arms revolvers from them. Charter Arms makes good, solid, reliable, American made pistols. Check out the GunBlast review of the .40 S&W Pitbull revolver.
